II. Applications

The BF flotation cell is suitable for separating ferrous metals and non-metals such as coal fluorite and talc. It is also widely used for separating non-ferrous metals such as gold, silver, copper, iron, tungsten, lead, zinc, tin, molybdenum, nickel, tantalum, niobium, manganese ore, and coal. It can also be used for both roughing and finishing of ferrous and non-metals.

III. Operating Principle

The flotation cell operates by rotating the impeller through a triangular motor drive. This creates a centrifugal force and generates negative pressure. This draws in sufficient air to mix with the slurry while stirring the slurry and mixing it with the reagent. This simultaneously refines the foam, causing the minerals to adhere to the foam and float to the surface of the slurry, forming a mineralized foam. Adjusting the gate height controls the liquid level, allowing the useful foam to be scraped off by the scraper. Our flotation machine has the following features: large air suction capacity, low price and low power consumption. Each tank of the flotation machine has the triple functions of air suction, slurry suction and flotation, forming a self-contained flotation circuit, without the need for any auxiliary equipment. The horizontal configuration facilitates process changes.
