Production Capacity: 0.2-8m³/min

Applications: Non-ferrous and ferrous metals, coal fluorite, talc, etc.

Product Description: The CLF flotation machine impeller utilizes a high-specific-speed, backward-inclined impeller. The lower blades are designed to align with the flow lines of the slurry passing through the impeller blades. This provides low agitation, high slurry circulation, and low power consumption. Together with the trough and grate, the CLF flotation machine ensures the suspension and air dispersion of coarse-grained minerals. The CLF flotation machine provides excellent hydrodynamic conditions, increasing the mineralization bubble load capacity and the particle size of the ground ore being floated.

I. Product Introduction

The CLF flotation machine features a high-specific-speed, backward-inclined impeller. The lower blades are designed to align with the streamlines of the slurry as it passes through the impeller blades. This results in low agitation, high slurry circulation, and low power consumption. Together with the trough and grate, the CLF fully ensures the suspension and aeration of coarse-grained minerals. The CLF flotation machine provides excellent hydrodynamic conditions, increasing the capacity of the mineralizing bubbles and the particle size of the ore being floated. While the typical flotation machine handles a particle size range of 0.01-0.15mm, this flotation machine can handle 0.4-0.7mm, overcoming the drawback of other flotation machines for coarse feeds. Furthermore, the slurry returning to the impeller is low-concentration and fine-particle, reducing wear on the impeller and stator. It also offers excellent aeration performance and low power consumption. The circulation channel promotes extensive slurry circulation within the cell, ensuring that solid particles remain in a well-suspended state and allowing the slurry to pass through the impeller agitation zone multiple times. This increases the contact between floatable minerals and fresh air, significantly reducing the solids content and particle size in the slurry in the impeller area and facilitating the flotation of fine particles.

II. Application Scope

The CLF flotation cell is primarily used for separating non-ferrous and ferrous metals and chemical raw materials. It is suitable for both coarse and fine particle separation, and is a full-size flotation cell. It features a novel impeller-stator system and a cell body with a forced circulation channel and grate plates with a false bottom. The impeller, circulation channel, and grate plates create a completely new slurry circulation pattern, a stable separation zone, and a froth layer.

3. Working Principle

As the flotation machine's impeller rotates, low-pressure air from the blower enters the impeller blades through holes around the distributor. Simultaneously, slurry from the lower portion of the impeller, beneath the false bottom, is drawn between the blades. After thorough mixing between the impeller blades, the slurry and air are discharged from the upper periphery of the impeller. This discharged slurry-air mixture, stabilized by the stator, passes through the grate plates and enters the upper section of the cell. At this point, the slurry in the inner section of the flotation machine contains a large number of bubbles, while the slurry in the outer circulation channel contains no bubbles (or only very few). This creates a pressure differential between the inner and outer slurries. Driven by this pressure differential and the impeller's suction force, the inner slurry and bubbles rise at a set flow rate through the grate plates, carrying coarse minerals to the upper portion of the grate, forming a coarse mineral suspension layer. Mineralized bubbles and slurry containing finer particles continue to rise, reaching the surface to form a froth layer. Slurry containing finer particles then passes over the baffles, through the circulation channel, and into the impeller area for recirculation. The CLF coarse particle flotation machine, with its innovative impeller and stator components, creates a completely new slurry circulation pattern, a stable separation zone, and a froth layer. This improved circulation increases the mineralized bubble load capacity and material particle size, providing a significant advantage in separating coarse-grained minerals, hence its designation as a coarse particle flotation machine. Furthermore, the slurry returning to the impeller from the flotation cell is low in concentration and fine in particle size, reducing wear on the impeller and stator.
