Working Principle

A jaw crusher uses a kinetic extrusion crushing method and is primarily composed of a frame, eccentric shaft, large pulley, flywheel, side guards, toggle plate, toggle plate backrest, gap adjustment screw, return spring, fixed jaw plate, and movable jaw plate. SC jaw crushers are typically powered by an electric motor. During operation, the motor drives the belt and pulley, which, through the rotation of the eccentric shaft, causes the movable jaw to move up and down. As the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw increases, pushing the movable jaw toward the fixed jaw plate. Simultaneously, the material is crushed or split, achieving the desired crushing effect. As the movable jaw descends, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw decreases, and the movable jaw plate, driven by the pull rod and spring, moves away from the fixed jaw plate. Crushed material is then discharged from the lower part of the crushing chamber. As the motor rotates continuously, the crusher performs cyclical motions, crushing and discharging the material, achieving mass production.
