Working Principle: Stirred grinding mills, also known as stirred ball mills, are simple to operate and highly efficient. The material to be ground, along with the grinding media, is placed into a jacketed, stationary grinding cylinder. The diameter of the grinding media is 3-10mm, and commonly used media types include carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome steel, cemented carbide, ceramic, or zirconium oxide. The material can be added directly to the jacketed grinding cylinder without premixing; other components in the formula that require only slight grinding can be added later. Batch grinding mills are equipped with a circulation pump system to maintain circulation during grinding, improving grinding efficiency and material uniformity, resulting in a good microparticle dispersion system. The circulation pump can also be used for unloading.

Special Options

Cylinder Liner – A liner can be used for grinding applications without metal ion contamination. Options include ceramic (alumina), ceramic tile, food-grade rubber, or polyurethane liner.

Agitator Arm Sleeve – For grinding applications without metal ion contamination, the agitator arm should be made of plastic, tungsten carbide, or zirconium oxide sleeves.

Cylinder Head – Can be equipped with a floating shaft seal for grinding under inert gas conditions.

Drive System – Variable speed drive, suitable for various speed requirements.
