Advantages
Principle of working
The sludge dryer's heat source comes from a combustion device. This dryer utilizes a downstream heating method. Therefore, the material to be dried enters the drum from the feed box and feed chute, where it is pushed backward by the spiral skimmer. Due to the dryer's tilted position, the material flows toward the rear end due to gravity and rotation. At the same time, the material is repeatedly scooped up by the skimmer, brought to the upper end, and then continuously dispersed downward, forming a uniform curtain of material within the drum. This allows for sufficient heat exchange with the hot air flow within the drum. This repeated dispersion gradually dries out the moisture contained in the material, achieving the desired drying effect.
