Lithium Ore Rotary Kiln Product Introduction

Lithium ore rotary kilns are thermal equipment used to heat bulk, powdered, or slurry materials. They are widely used for roasting raw materials such as lepidolite, spodumene, ferroalite, petalite, and ferroalite. Custom production is available based on the characteristics and production capacity of each lithium concentrate.

1. The cylinder design fully considers the rotation angle at the cylinder's deflection support, extending the life of refractory bricks and castables; ensuring material conversion efficiency, with spodumene roasting conversion rates exceeding 98% and lepidolite calcination conversion rates exceeding 85%.

2. Large-diameter, low-aspect-ratio roller bearings are used for improved reliability, and the bearings are self-aligning.

3. The lithium carbonate rotary kiln utilizes a new type of open gear cover seal, providing excellent sealing performance.

4. The spring-laminated flexible seal and double-layer spring seal provide an additional insulation layer, enhancing the reliability and service life of the lithium carbonate rotary kiln.

Working Principle

A rotary kiln consists of a kiln drum, a transmission system, a support system with supports and rollers, a kiln lining, a kiln tail seal, a kiln head hood, and a combustion system. The kiln drum, the heated, rotating component, is made of high-quality carbon steel sheets welded together. The drum is supported on the support system by tires, and mechanical or hydraulic rollers are installed on one or more of the support gears to control axial movement of the drum. The transmission system rotates the drum at the required speed through a gear ring located in the center of the drum. For installation and maintenance purposes, larger kilns are equipped with an auxiliary transmission system that allows the drum to rotate at a very low speed. To prevent the ingress of cold air and the escape of flue gas and dust, reliable seals are installed at the drum feed and discharge ends.
