Ceramic Pellets Rotary Kiln

Ceramic pellet kilns are categorized into two main types: straight-tube rotary kilns and plug-in rotary kilns. Plug-in rotary kilns are further divided into two sections: a preheating kiln and a roasting kiln. The preheating kiln is used to dry and preheat the raw ceramic pellets, while the roasting kiln is used to calcine the finished product. These kilns are critical equipment in ceramic pellet production, offering high operational flexibility, high efficiency, stable operation, low heat consumption, long service life, and stable operating conditions.

Ceramic Porcelain Rotary Kiln Product Introduction

Ceramic porcelain, a new environmentally friendly material, has been widely used in the construction industry. It can be made into new wall materials such as wallboard and bricks, as well as for thermal insulation, floor slabs, lightweight concrete, and water treatment and purification. As a key piece of equipment in the production of ceramic porcelain, the performance of the rotary kiln directly impacts the quality and production cost of the finished ceramic porcelain.

Working Principle: Semi-finished pellets are fed into the kiln through a chute at the tail (high end) of the preheating kiln. Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the kiln, the semi-finished pellets roll in a circular motion while moving axially from the tail (high end) of the preheating kiln to the head (low end) of the roasting kiln. Fuel is injected into the kiln through a burner at the head (low end) of the roasting kiln for combustion. Heat is transferred to the semi-finished pellets through radiation, convection, and conduction. During this movement, the semi-finished pellets are dried and preheated before entering the roasting kiln for roasting, undergoing various physical and chemical reactions to form ceramsite. The pellets are then discharged from the head end of the roasting kiln into a cooler. High-temperature flue gas enters the dust removal system at the tail end of the preheating kiln.
