- Magnesite rotary kiln
Our magnesite rotary kiln ranges from Ø1.6×32m to Ø4×80m depending on the drum size. Drum diameters 2.2m and above are equipped with auxiliary transmissions, while drum diameters 3.0m and above utilize four support groups instead of three. The kiln speed is 0.58-2.85 rpm, the inclination is 3.5-4.0%, and the main motor power ranges from 18.5-355kW. This kiln can produce 2-20 tons of magnesite per hour.

Magnesite Rotary Kiln Product Introduction
Magnesite is a valuable mineral resource in my country. It is a magnesium carbonate mineral. Iron and manganese are often used as substitutes for magnesium, but the iron content of natural magnesia is generally low. It is the primary raw material for manufacturing alkaline magnesia refractories and extracting metallic magnesium. Magnesite ore is primarily used to calcine refractory materials such as light-burned magnesia, sintered magnesia, and fused magnesia. Currently, rotary kilns are the primary equipment used to produce light-burned magnesia.
Highlights
1. High product quality and high output;
2. Stable production operations and high safety;
3. The rotary kiln has a simple structure and strong controllability, making it easy to operate and maintain;
4. High raw material utilization, sufficient calcination, uniform quality, high quality, and high production capacity.
Working Principle
Magnesite ore is fed into the kiln through a chute at the kiln tail (high end). Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the kiln drum, the magnesite ore rolls circumferentially while moving axially from the kiln tail (high end) toward the kiln head (low end). Fuel is injected into the kiln through a burner at the kiln head for combustion. Heat is transferred to the magnesite ore through various methods, including radiation, convection, and conduction. The magnesite ore undergoes preheating, decomposition, and sintering within the kiln, calcining into calcined white before being discharged from the kiln head.
