Calcium Aluminate Rotary Kiln Product Introduction

The raw materials of the calcium aluminate rotary kiln are limestone and bauxite. After high-temperature calcination, the resulting sintered material is primarily composed of calcium and calcium dioxide. The finished product can be used as a raw material for polymeric water purifiers, high-efficiency concrete expansion agents, and refractory castables. The finished products are effective and offer significant economic benefits.

Working Principle

Raw materials are fed directly from the storage tank into the calcium aluminate rotary kiln via an electronic belt weighing scale, belt conveyor, stabilizing bin, and air lock valve. Only the stabilizing bin is located at the kiln end to minimize investment. Upon entering the calcium aluminate rotary kiln, the raw materials are first heated. Inside the kiln, they move countercurrently to the hot air flow. In the heating zone, the raw materials are heated to the reduction temperature before entering the reduction zone. The center temperature of the flame in the reduction zone is controlled at approximately 1000°C, and the hot atmosphere in the reduction zone is maintained at approximately 700°C, where they react with the reducing gas. The raw materials then enter the cooling zone, where they meet the incoming gas, preheating it. The finished product is cooled and discharged from the kiln. After being water-cooled by a continuous bucket conveyor, they are then transferred to the storage tank for selection.
